1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser at a website's request. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. Vendrank uses these sparingly and only to make the service work.

2. What we use and why

Strictly necessary (no consent required): the session authentication token (localStorage "vendrank.token") – keeps you signed in; language ("vendrank.lang") and theme ("vendrank.theme") preferences; your choice in the cookie banner ("vendrank.cookie-consent"). None of these track you across other websites.

Statistics (consent only): if you enable statistics we measure visits to public pages in aggregate and anonymously (no personal identifiers). We currently use no advertising tools and share no data with ad networks.

3. Duration

The authentication token is valid until you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. Preferences (language, theme, consent) are kept for 12 months. Aggregated statistics are kept for at most 26 months.

4. How to control them

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can delete or block storage in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent signing in to the application.

5. Third parties

Public pages load web fonts from Fontshare, which transmits your IP address to that provider to deliver the files. The application embeds no social-network or advertising content.
